ABOUT US:

Rhododendron Lodge lies in Mawkdok, about 30 Km from the city of Shillong on the Shillong to Sohra route. The property is nestled in the outskirt of Mawkdok village, amid the Rhododendron trees, Cryptomeria trees, Myrica trees, Pine and other species of Tropical evergreen forest. Surrounded by lush green vegetation and quiet location, It gives out an unwinding and relaxing vibes that delights the soul and stress free getaway. Submerged in a serene environment, Rhododendron lodge is a peaceful location suitable for a gateway and inspires dreams of adventures.

ACCOMODATION: The lodge offers accommodations for those wishing to live closer to nature surrounded with Rhododendron woods, chirping of birds, the Jackals howl at dawn, Squeak noise of the squirrel and other small mammals amidst the pouring rains. The lodge has one deluxe room and five standard rooms at the moment with attached bathroom.

RESTAURANT: The lodge have no restaurant at the moment. Complimentary breakfast will be serve whereas for lunch and dinner the guests can place an order and will be arrange from the nearby restaurant.

The property is just 5 minutes’ drive to the Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge and Dympep valley view point along the Shillong to Sohra (Cherrapunjee) Road. The Lodge is about 28 km to Sohra (Cherrapunjee), 50 Km to the whistling village (Kongthong village), 57 Km to Mawlynnong village (Asia’s cleanest village) and 61 km to Umngot (crystal clear water) Dawki, India – Bangladesh border and Shnongpdeng.
